single site mode: /admin should go directly site admin
Reported by Priit Tamboom | December 16th, 2008 @ 02:01 PM
At the moment, single site mode adva link /admin opens /admin/sites but should open instead /admin/sites/1 i think. No need to for site index when there is only one site in my mind.
If you agree, we should write test and implement it.
PS: or perhaps even alias /admin to /admin/sites/1 in single site mode? It would be nice anyhow.

Priit,
I agree :)
I'm not completely sure about the admin/sites/1 alias to just admin/ although it certainly makes sense for setups where there's only adva-cms installed.
Could that be done by just accessing Site.multi_site_enabled? in the routes.rb? Otherwise one could also think of an additional routing_filter that just looks at the current host and sets the base_controller.site_id accordingly.
