templates/theme_name/templates/file
should be
templates/file

- State changed from new to invalid

Mac OSX unzips the theme on download to theme_name folder .. zipping this folder and trying to import it causes the file paths to mess up, because the zip files directory structure is one level too 'far'.
Solution is to zip the contents of the theme_name folder and importing works correctly.
